I whinnied to my herd and we set of at full speed. The water under my hoofs splashed everywhere. I looked back to see a hunter throw his hat on the ground in frustration. I snorted in glee. we had gotten away this time. The herd settled in a open snowy field. i saw the foals playing merrily and nipping at each others heels. Then i saw snowflake sitting alone in the snow. I nickered to her and she nickered back. That made me feel warm inside, she felt for me! I checked on the herd for the last time. And i went to sleep.
